Wishing all Society members, family and friends a Very Happy New Year. Our logo was launched at the AGM in December and can now been seen on the top of this page. We hope you like it!

Please click here to see the report of our AGM held on 2nd December 2011.

Would you like to be more involved with our Society?

In particular, we would like to invite nominees for the position of Hon. General Secretary to the Executive Committee.

This position will be ideal for someone able to arrange and attend evening meetings, usually five times a year. The role includes agenda preparation and minute taking.

Members may apply to be on the Committee at any time and will be made very welcome.

If you are interested, Please click here and send us an email.

Our Autumn Show 2011 was held on Saturday 10th September. Please click here for photos and a report.

Did you know we hire out garden tools to members at very reasonable prices?
Please go to the Trading Hut page for more details.

Welcome to the ISHS website, a group for local people interested in gardening and horticulture.

We run a number of activities for our members, including annual Spring and Autumn shows, as well as a range of interesting evening lectures and day trips.

Other benefits include access to the Trading Hut, where you can get all your gardening materials. Purchases made at the Trading Hut are usually cheaper than local garden centres and support the society financially.

We're based around Ickenham in Hillingdon Borough, although some of our members do come from further afield. We have an active Junior section and we're working with Glebe and Breakspear primary schools to introduce the young people there to gardening.

Join us! Membership costs just £3.50 a year for your household. We regret that we have increased this from £3.00 from September 2011, but believe it is still excellent value.
