are now available at the hut. We have these varieties in stock:
Swift: Extra Early - One of the first potatoes to crop, in as little as
7 weeks from planting.
Foremost: First Early - RHS Award of Garden
Merit. Not usually attacked by slugs.
Charlotte: Salad - RHS Award
of Garden Merit winner. Uniform in shape and up to 50 per cent larger than other salad varieties.
Kestrel:
Second Early - Good resistance to slugs and blackleg. You can lift before time if your First Earlies have run out.
Nadine: Second Early - Grown all around the world. Has double
eelworm resistance, high common scab and spraing tolerance.
International Kidney:
Salad or Main - Better known as Jersey Royals. Harvested as a second early, it makes a very waxy, salad potato. As
an early main crop, it produces floury, large, general purpose tubers.
